hi, i’m Mackenzie!
As someone who has gone through my own journey of self-acceptance and love, I know how challenging it can be to ask for help. As a self-proclaimed overachiever & recovering perfectionist, I deeply relate to many of the difficulties that my clients often face. I imagine that you are searching for a therapist because there are parts of your life that you wish you could change. I get that, and I am here to help.

I believe that all people are capable of growth & change, no matter their circumstances.
The decision to seek counseling can often feel vulnerable, scary, and overwhelming. During our lifetime, we face many different seasons of life. We may experience seasons of excitement, joy, and acceptance, as well as seasons of pain, discouragement, and loss. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe space where I can empower and support you during all seasons of life. I aim to provide you with compassion and empathy through a collaborative approach as we walk through this transformative time together. Research consistently shows that the most likely indicator of change is the relationship between the client and the therapist. That’s why I think it’s important for you to understand a little bit about me and how I can relate to and validate your concerns.
My route to becoming a therapist was far from typical. As someone who has always sought the approval of others, I found myself in a career that did not serve my interests or my mental health well. I deeply desired making an impact on others & helping people realize that who they are is enough. That’s what lead me here today & I could not be happier. If you are feeling stuck, unsure, or full of self-doubt, believe me, I’ve been there. Together, we can improve your overall wellbeing while making your life a little less hectic and complicated. Making your mental health a priority is an amazing gift that you can give to yourself. Because of my unique path to get here, I feel confident in myself and my ability to connect with your story. I hope that I can help you make positives changes in your life, too.
