my approach to therapy
I use an integrative approach to therapy to meet each individual’s unique needs and goals. Research shows that the most likely indicator of therapeutic success is the relationship between the client and the therapist. With that being said, I am person-centered first to meet you where you are at while incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

therapeutic modalities I utilize
Psychodynamic theory
This approach emphasizes that events in our childhood have a significant influence on our adult lives and as such, shaping our personalities.
Attachment-based therapy
This trauma-informed therapy is based on John Bowlby’s attachment theory, that focuses on the role of early interactions between a child and their adult caregivers.
Emotion Focused therapy (EFT)
This model of psychotherapy prioritizes emotion and emotional regulation as the key to understanding the individual experience as well as relationship interactions.
